Each week the Spotlight Effect will feature people who have made headlines over the years, topped charts, accumulated millions of social media views, stolen scenes, or otherwise reached cult status for some period of time. People who were household names or who’s faces dominated the public consciousness and have since returned to “normal” civilian life. One day he might have been an Olympic athlete featured on 60 Minutes and years later, he’s a Mechanical Engineer. Or one day, she’s stealing a scene in TV’s top sitcom and today, she’s doing commercial voiceover or found her calling in civil service. The common denominator is...all guests of the Spotlight Effect achieved a level of fame and to this day still have fans, are recognized, or are recalled during conversations among friends. People we want to know more about. Our listeners have the opportunity to relive and reminisce about that time gone by with each guest.
